You need to add the design before you fold and sew it together as its difficult when its sewn together. just consider where you need to fold so you don’t lose some of your decorations
- Fold the ‘front under fold’ up with your decorations on the outside

- Sew up the edges by using running stitches or blanket stitch to secure front and back together. See top 10 embroidery stitches if you need help to do the stitches.

- Add a closure fastening to the purse. This can be a fabric popper or button, whatever you have to hand. For instructions go to Sew with buttons, poppers and hooks. When you add the closure make sure to measure each side of the fastening. It should be sewn in place so it lines up with the other half. If using a button here is a how to hand sew a button hole.
